Graduate Business Administration Programs

At Golden Gate University, our integrative business curriculum will provide you with the in-depth preparation required for the global economy. All MBA programs provide you with the basics of the financial, marketing and operational skills and knowledge, but at GGU, you'll also develop the communication skills, technological savvy, commitment to innovation and adaptation to change, and mastery of working in and leading teams all of which are required to take your career to the next level. You'll be taught by faculty that are highly qualified, both academically and professionally. All our faculty have advanced degrees in business or a related field. The majority of the faculty are also full time practicing professionals. Together, their work covers many facets of the contemporary marketplace, allowing them to know the global economy's latest trends and directions. They bring their insights and today's business issues directly into the classroom for discussion and exploration. You'll find them highly experienced professionals who enjoy teaching and expect to learn with, as well as instruct, their students.

Traditional Evening and Weekend MBA Program

Designed for working professionals and full time students alike, the traditional GGU MBA offers the student the opportunity to pursue a designated concentration and is our most flexible program making it easier to balance your studies, work and personal life. It provides students with valuable flexibility to proceed at your own pace in sequencing courses and deciding how many to take in a given trimester either in person or through our on-line cyber campus. The opportunity to take courses online lends an added level of convenience.

Professional MBA Program (PMBA)

This cohort program is ideal for those with at least five years of full-time work experience, who want to immerse themselves in intensive sixteen months of study that emphasizes the skills needed to meet real business challenges. Classes meet in person on alternating Saturdays for sixteen months and leverage our online Cybercampus platform to reduce the time spent in class. We are currently accepting applications for our next cohort in San Francisco that starts in May, 2010.

Executive MBA Program (EMBA)

This state of the art cohort program is ideal for those with at least eight year of full-time work experience, five of which are at the at the managerial level, who want to immerse themselves in one year of intensive study that emphasizes hands-on project to meet real business challenges. Students in the EMBA program collaborate with client organizations on real-time consulting projects that build skills, confidence and expertise. Classes meet on alternating weekends for one year. We are currently accepting applications for our next cohort in San Francisco that starts in January, 2011.

Doctor of Business Administration Program (DBA)

This program is for professionals who want to advance their career through the most advanced business education we offer. When you graduate from this rigorous program, you'll have attained advanced knowledge, research skills and a sophisticated awareness of the contemporary strategic issues and practices related to your chosen business area.
